Tracy Cowles is the CEO & owner of Next Step Therapy and Next Step’s Child Enrichment Center. Tracy was born in Venango County and attended Cranberry Schools. She is a speech language pathologist and is a graduate of Clarion University. Tracy has provided speech therapy in nursing homes, through home health programs, in hospitals and for early intervention programs. She also was a part-time instructor at Clarion University in the Communication Science Disorders Department. Tracy has 2 sons and enjoys reading, traveling and singing karaoke.

Through her work in early intervention and home health programs, Tracy noticed a need for specialized pediatric services in Venango County and surrounding areas. Tracy created Next Step Therapy/Next Step’s Child Enrichment Center so that local families can have access to high quality therapy services with pediatric therapists. Tracy began with a team of five therapists. In the last seven years, business has expanded tremendously. Currently, Next Step Therapy has a staff of 39, serves 10 counties for early intervention and offers 2 locations for pediatric outpatient therapy. Locally, parents have come to rely upon Next Step Therapy to provide quality, child-centered therapy that was only accessible in more urban areas. Tracy credits the dedicated team of therapists and support staff who are focused on providing the highest quality of services to families.
